Lately, I found a great learning platform having various free educational videos for older kids and teens. Me and my grade 6 elementary students watched a video about dolphins. It was a wonderful learning experience. Here the link to have a look at:
They were able to learn that dolphins eat squid, plankton, fish and krill. In the video, they describe the dolphin as an intelligent, social and playful mammal. Did you know that calf learn its own name , different from the others? What is a pod? What is echolocation? And much more questions to be answered.
If you are looking for lesson plans, each video has what you need to establish a theme in your esl class. Learn Bright is a platform that contains great learning opportunities. The lesson plans are at low cost, but the videos are free. Here some titles that might interest your students: Ocean Animals for Kids, Volcanoes for Kids, Life Cycle of a Butterfly for Kids, Electricity for Kids, Climate Change for Kids and many more.
This platform is called learnbright.org .
I wish you interesting findings.
